2013 Registrations Show Pleasant Increase.

With 13 golfers already registered for the 2013  Tournament, Alumni originator & Tournament Registrar Darryl Havrelock is sporting a big smile these days.

"This is fantastic" bubbled Havrelock from his winter residence in Palm Springs, California.  "We usually  have 5 or 6 by the time Christmas rolls around, so to be at 13 already is really great!  It might not seem like a big number, but to be in excess of double our normal number at this date is really something.  Having 136 golfers each of the past 2 years,  tells us we don't really have too much wiggle room for new golfers to join the fun. The fellows who  renewed  have now assured their positions for 2013.  They're all familiar names, so I guess it shows everyone has enjoyed the day".
Continued Havrelock, "Kevin (Shaigec), Gregg (Pilling) and I have expressed concern over the Alumni's pleasant dilema of potentially being sold out, and sold out early this year. It looks like, for the first time ever,  we will need to implement an Official Renewal Date for this year, in order to protect our previous golfers".
Havrelock added "the current Oil KIngs have been great to work with, & Tournament info  will be on their scoreboard starting in February.  They have a solid club once again, and hopefully will be playing in May in Saskatoon for the Memorial Cup. That's a lot of Home Games to be up on their Scoreboard, when we are only looking for 8 new golfers to hit the magic Tournament Sell-Out number of 144".

For further tournament information, go to our "Golf Registration Page" or call Kevin Shaigec at 780-447-7982, or Gregg Pilling at 780-486-2125 or 780-909-3691.
